Dura-Sport were approached to provide advice to Warwickshire County Cricket Club regarding the construction of a practice facility.
Land was identified as suitable in terms of location and orientation and a series of designs were produced before the County Cricket Club agreed on a final specification.
The facility design incorporates three 40 metre long practice pitches incorporating The ECB Approved DSi-pro Cricket System.
The system was surfaced with our new enhanced i-weave superior wilton woven cricket playing surface, confirmed as the strongest and most durable cricket material available in the industry.
Evograss synthetic surround material was installed alongside and in between each pitch in order to provide a totally synthetic low maintenance design footprint, complete with 18 metre long spike resistant run ups.
A heavy duty cage and netting structure was installed and the surrounding ground was also remodelled and re-graded as part of the scheme, which was completed on time and within budget, with no additional costs.
Warwickshire CCC are the first site in the UK to receive Dura-Sport's new enhanced i-weave cricket surface.
