Dura-Sport were appointed by Roffey Cricket Club to construct a new build twin bay practice facility to replace the existing nets at their ground. After discussions at the club a final specification was agreed in order to meet the clubs maintenance, performance, lifespan and budget requirements.
As part of the scheme the existing facility was ripped out and removed and a new extended facility was defined within the cleared area.
The new facility features 2no. full length practice pitches, both of which incorporate The ECB Approved DSi-pro Vision cricket system, surfaced with straw coloured DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket carpet. DS Evograss surrounds were installed alongside and in between the pitches to blend the facility naturally into the surrounding area.
A 25.62m long heavy duty cage structure was also installed as part of the scheme, which was clad with our new DS HD 4mm knotted dark green netting.
Roffey Cricket Club has the distinction of being our first project in Sussex to incorporate both The ECB Approved DSi-pro Vision cricket system and our new DS HD dark green netting product.
