Dura-Sport were employed to upgrade the existing sand filled synthetic grass pitch at Plas Arthur Leisure Centre in Anglesey.
Works involved uplifting the existing grass and carrying out repairs to the existing shock pad. New 50mm 3G synthetic grass was then supplied and installed across the 6300m2 area with permanent line markings for full sized football and 5-a-side.
The project, which created the first full size 3G pitch in Anglesey, was completed one week ahead of schedule, which was of great benefit to the Local Authority as it reduced their loss of earnings during the closure period.
The new facility was officially opened by Wales National Football Team Manager, Ryan Giggs, and his assistant, Osian Roberts. You can read the local news story here.
