Dura-Sport were appointed by Old Down Cricket Club to construct a new twin bay practice facility at their ground in Gloucestershire.
A specification was agreed in order to meet the clubs maintenance, performance, lifespan and budget requirements, whilst fully meeting ECB Code of Practice and TS6 requirements.
The new facility features two practice pitches, both of which incorporate The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, with Evograss natural looking synthetic grass specified as the surround material.
An extended heavy duty cage and netting structure clad with black netting was also specified, complete with anti-vermin skirt. Each bay was secured with a lockable access gate in order to promote lane discipline and prevent unauthorised use. The project was completed on time and within budget.
