Dura-Sport were approached to provide free, no obligation advice towards refurbishing the existing twin bay practice facility at Milton Keynes City Cricket Club. Following a site meeting and discussions, a proposal was forwarded in order to upgrade several aspects of the existing facility whilst meeting the clubs budget and funding streams.
The existing two 11.00m x 2.74m batting ends were replaced and upgraded to The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, surfaced with DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket carpets. The bowlers’ run ups were rejuvenated and resurfaced using DSi-weave. The heavy duty cage structure was extended to meet ECB requirements and fitted with a new heavy duty net complete with anti-vermin skirt.
The existing synthetic surround material was rejuvenated by the Club to keep costs down, with the final upgrade of the facility being lockable flag gates across the front of each lane in order to prevent unauthorised use.
