Twin Bay Non-Turf Cricket Facility Construction

Knowle & Dorridge Cricket Club

Warwickshire

Knowle & Dorridge CC first approached Dura-Sport in 2007 to look at the feasibility of constructing a twin bay non-turf practice facility.

Despite having an enviable cricket ground and pavilion, the main constraint for a new build practice facility was the lack of off field space to site one. Several meetings and conversations have taken place since that time as the club looked for the best possible solution to provide quality facilities for their growing numbers.

After a lot of due diligence, a location was agreed and club members set to work on clearing the area. Dura-Sport then constructed the new build facility, which incorporates 2no. 24.00m DSi-pro cricket systems, full synthetic surrounds and a heavy duty cage and netting structure.

Dura-Sport are extremely proud that they were able to help such a traditional cricket club with such a bespoke design, which ensured that the facility fitted within the location without overpowering or spoiling the rest of the ground.
