Dura-Sport were approached to provide advice to Hopton Mills Cricket Club regarding the construction of an artificial cricket practice facility.
The facility design incorporates a twin bay practice facility with two 33 metre long practice pitches incorporating The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, surfaced with i-weave superior wilton woven cricket playing surfaces, with full synthetic surround material to provide a totally synthetic low maintenance design footprint.
The cage structure was designed in a manner to fully enclose the facility, with unauthorised use prevented by the inclusion of a heavy duty lockable panelled mesh perimeter fence.
The surrounding ground was also remodelled and re-graded as part of the scheme, which was completed on time and within budget, with no additional costs in line with the clubs grant award.
