Dura-Sport were approached to provide advice to Ammanford Cricket Club regarding construction of a practice facility to replace one of four existing tarmac tennis courts in Ammanford Park.
The facility design incorporates a twin bay practice facility with two practice pitches incorporating The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, surfaced with DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket surfacing.
An extended 72’ heavy duty cage was constructed, clad with webbed heavy duty netting for added health and safety assurance.
DS cricket carpet was installed around the two practice pitches as well as within a warm up area and the extended bowlers’ run up areas.
The facility was secured with heavy duty powder coated perimeter fencing complete with DDA compliant lockable access points from both the park and the remaining tennis courts.
The project was completed on budget and within the tight timescale requested.
