Dura-Sport were approached following fire damage to the school’s existing artificial cricket pitch. The fire had burnt through both the playing surface and the shock pad layer, exposing the aggregate base.

After consultation, the fire damaged materials were removed from site and the base was cleaned and rolled. A new performance underlay was specified and installed along the length of the pitch and a new i-weave wilton woven cricket surface was chosen, which was installed under tension and marked out as per rules of the game.
