Dura-Sport were asked by Edinburgh Council to tender for the contract to construct five new non-turf cricket pitches in various parks in Edinburgh.
The quotations were provided and the order placed within a week. Turnaround of the scheme was tight but achieved in extremely adverse weather conditions.
Edinburgh Council now own the first ECB Approved DSi-pro Cricket System match pitches in Scotland, which have led to several other enquiries already.
