Dura-Sport were approached to provide advice, information and quotations to Dunton Bassett CC regarding their requirement for a new build twin bay practice facility.
Several discussions took place regarding the facility and the club were advised on a suitable location and design in order to meet health & safety, performance, maintenance and budget requirements.
The facility design incorporates two ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system practice pitches, surfaced with i-weave superior wilton woven playing surfaces. The surfaces were laid at full width in order to provide the club with a mowing margin around the heavy duty cage structure, which measures 18.30m in length.
A back stop net was specified to provide additional protection, but also provide a sight screen behind the bowlers run up.
