Leisure Care were appointed by Leicester City Council to carry out a specialist maintenance visit to one of their open access sports facilities in Braunstone, Leicester.
As a result of the lack of both regular and specialist maintenance, the two sand filled MUGA pitches required a deep clean service to clean the existing sand.
The Leisure Care team spent the day lifting, decompacting and cleaning the existing sand infill using their specialist machinery. The clean sand was then redistributed evenly across the pitches.
