Dura-Sport were approached by Aston Hall Cricket Club to carry out a full inspection and provide a condition report on their existing triple lane non-turf practice facility, installed by Dura-Sport in 2011/12.
Following the free advice provided, a professional maintenance service was ordered by the club, scope of works including:
- Weed and moss kill of all surfaces
- Removal of grass creep, moss, weeds and loose detritus from the surfaces
- Rejuvenation and upgrade of batting ends
- Removal of undulations from the existing foundation
- Repair and re-fitting of the netting to the cage poles
- Additional netting supplied to the client to carry out any further future repairs
- Power sweep of all surfaces with mechanical brushes
- Top up of sand infill levels within the synthetic surrounds
- Re-marking of all crease areas
The project was completed in line with the clients instruction for the facility to be refurbished and ready for net practice at the start of the 2018 season.
