Dura-Sport were approached to provide guidance and options with regards to the existing non-turf cricket pitch at Alvechurch & Hopwood Cricket Club.

Upon investigation of the foundation and synthetic materials in situ, the existing pitch and foundation was lifted up in its entirety and removed from site.

Then a new non-turf pitch measuring 30.00m x 2.74m was constructed. The new pitch incorporates The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, surfaced with DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket carpet, the strongest and most durable surface available, bar none.

DS Flexi Stumps were also provided for use on the pitch. The pitch was kindly sponsored by a local Company and as part of the scheme their Company logo was marked on to both run up areas.

The project was completed on time which allowed Worcestershire CCC Captain Daryl Mitchell to officially open the new non-turf pitch.
