Dura-Sport are seeking to appoint an experienced person to join our staff as a full-time Maintenance Technician.
Based out of our headquarters in Wigston, Dura-Sport work all over the UK building and maintaining synthetic surfaces for sport, recreation, and play.
The ideal candidate MUST have a full UK driving licence and experience of driving a van.
You will mainly be working independently and occasionally as part of a small team. You should have experience of either synthetic surfaces or similar ground maintenance related work and be at ease working outside in both summer and winter months. This is a manual job role and can be physically demanding.
You will report to the Maintenance Division Manager and have excellent communication skills, as you will interact with colleagues, clients and suppliers on a daily basis to ensure the safe and smooth completion of jobs.
Dura-Sport take pride in ensuring that all work is completed to high quality standards so an eye for detail is essential. The role does include lodging away from home when required. An overnight allowance is provided.
Experience of towing trailers, operating small plant and other machinery is desirable, though not essential. Full training will be provided.
Our work is varied from basic cleaning of surfaces with specialist maintenance equipment to full rejuvenation and infill replacements. It also includes completing detailed client condition reports. You must be reliable, punctual, resourceful and have a flexible approach to working hours to ensure that key stages of projects are met.
The successful candidate will be a competent and experienced driver with a friendly, approachable attitude. An excellent communicator who can work to both specific instructions and show initiative in problem solving. They will also live in or around the Leicestershire area.
Due to the nature of our business, applicants will be subjected to an enhanced DBS check.
Salary Guide £27,000 - £33,000 (dependent on experience)
