Dura-Sport has successfully passed our 2023 ISO 9001 Quality Management System audit, recognising our commitment to continually improving efficiency and effectiveness across our business.
ISO 9001 is the International Quality Management System standard, designed to help businesses plan, monitor and manage their quality processes and identify areas for improvement. These processes are audited annually by an external ISO certification body.
In their recent audit report, Citation found Dura-Sport to have zero non-conformances, therefore retaining our accreditation which we have held since 2017.
As a certified ISO 9001 company, Dura-Sport will continue to be in a position to demonstrate our strong corporate governance, work effectively with all of our stakeholders and continue to be both innovative and resilient as a business.
ISO 9001 is the world's most recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard.
It aims to help organisations meet the needs of their customers and other stakeholders more effectively. This is achieved by building a framework to ensure consistent quality in providing goods and/or services.
The standard is based on seven quality management principles, including having a strong customer focus, the involvement of top management, and a drive for continual improvement.
The seven quality management principles are:
1 Customer focus
2 Leadership
3 Engagement of people
4 Process approach
5 Improvement
6 Evidence-based decision making
7 Relationship management
