It has been another excellent year for the cricket department with some very exciting and bespoke projects constructed all over the UK, from private dwellings and schools, to universities, clubs and International Test Venues. All four of our ECB Approved cricket systems continue to remain popular, with our flagship ECB Approved DSi-pro Vision system once again leading the way.
We began January 2024 at Loughborough University, where a full refurbishment took place of the existing very popular triple lane Dura-Sport practice facility.
The pick of February’s projects was the facility constructed for Davenham Cricket Club in Cheshire. A triple lane DSi-pro Vision fully enclosed and lockable design replacing their existing traditional twin bay batting and bowling layout.
We spent much of March in South Wales, with new facilities constructed at Pontymister Cricket Club and a four lane new build facility in Llandaff Fields in Cardiff for Llandaff Cricket Club. The reconstruction and upgrade of the existing four lane facility at Miskin Manor Cricket Club featuring our DSi-pro system was also undertaken.
More reconstruction and upgrade projects took place during April, including this triple lane facility at Ormskirk Cricket Club including additional run up.
The pick of the projects undertaken during May was this bespoke design and build at a private dwelling in Berkshire.
The end of May and beginning of June saw the fields finally dry out enough to construct non-turf pitches for schools and clubs. 15 in total installed during this period and all 4 of our ECB Approved pitches were installed, from sites in South London to Rotherham and from Essex to West Wales.

More facilities were constructed during July, with all four of our ECB Approved systems featuring in practice nets constructed during this month. The ECB Approved DS ‘E’ system at Darley Dale Cricket Club proving a solution to frequent flooding issues.
Of the facilities constructed during August, Bircham Cricket Club in Norfolk had the distinction of being the first club in the country to have a hawkeye / ball tracker lane installed within their facility.
Despite the season coming to a close we continued to construct facilities at clubs. One team headed back to South Wales to Burton CC, Cardiff CC and Chepstow CC (pictured)
A large project at Christ’s Hospital School in Horsham began during October, and ECB Approved DSi-pro system nets were completed at Hemel Hempstead School during half term.
The cricket installation teams were based in Nottingham throughout November, with a prestigious five lane facility, featuring our flagship ECB Approved DSi-pro Vision system and additional works, being constructed close to Trent Bridge, home of Nottinghamshire CCC. More of which will follow in the New Year.
December began with an ECB Approved DS ‘E’ System facility being constructed for Notts Unity Casuals CC. And then last but certainly not least, we headed up to Scotland. Battling storms and rain we were able to construct a twin bay ECB Approved DS System in testing conditions for Irvine Cricket Club on The West Coast. The project was completed on time and within budget to end another busy year with another facility ready for the 2025 cricket season.
Our order book is already filling up for 2025 and with further developments on the cards - and some exciting projects already confirmed, we are looking forward to another great year!.
