Dura-Sport were asked to provide advice and information to Wormelow CC on their existing non-turf cricket pitch situated on the edge of the square.

After the pitch was surveyed and levels were taken it became apparent that the existing pitch fell outside TS6 and ECB parameters.

Following lengthy discussions with the client it was agreed that the existing facility would be stripped out and removed in its entirety. The synthetic materials were cut up and removed from site and the existing aggregate base was stripped out and the remaining soil excavated to 110mm.

Levels were retaken in order for the new pitch to meet required tolerances.

A new 30 metre x 2.74 metre non-turf pitch incorporating The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system was installed, surfaced with i-weave superior wilton woven playing surface and marked out as per rules of the game.
