Dura-Sport were employed by Harrogate Borough Council, with whom we have worked for many years, to resurface a play area at Valley Gardens.
Repairs were made to the existing wet pour rubber surface to create the perfect base for the new Impact Play Carpet, which was laid directly over the top.
The play area was created in 2004 in memory of Rose Sophia Jeffries, a local child who sadly passed away from a rare illness aged just seven. Her parents set up a fund to build the play area as a lasting tribute to their daughter, who loved to play at Valley Gardens and a rose design was incorporated in to the original wet pour rubber surfacing in tribute.
Dura-Sport's installers replicated this special feature by carefully cutting the rose design in to the new Impact Play surfacing.
