Dura-Sport were appointed by Isle of Wight Council to resurface the existing multi-use games area (MUGA) as The Bay C of E School in Sandown.
The project involved the removal of the existing sand filled synthetic grass surface and repairs to the shock pad. New 40mm 3G synthetic grass was then installed to the 63.2 x 36.2m area, featuring line markings for football and hockey.
"The Isle of Wight council commissioned Dura-Sport to replace their multi use games surface at The Bay Academy in Sandown. The surface had reached the end of its natural life. Dura-Sport provided a comprehensive response to our tender process and were successful in securing the work. A 3G surface was chosen as the replacement, the work was completed ahead of schedule and completed in a professional manner from the first contact with the account manager to the site contractors. The resulting pitch installation has now provided a superb facility for the students and the community alike".
