Dura-Sport were appointed by St Andrews Healthcare Trust to surface three outdoor recreationl areas and a small sports area at their specialist mental healthcare facility in Northamptonshire.
The existing grass within the three areas at Seacole House (100m²) Stowe House (100m²) and Sitwell House (125m²) were excavated and removed from site. New edgings were installed and a geotextile pad was installed, followed by a clean angular stone base. Playrite Luxury artificial grass was supplied and installed across the prepared areas.
The fourth area at Smyth House involved the repair of the existing rubber surface around the perimeter edge and areas that broken down and become soft over time. Playrite’s highly durable Matchplay 2 artificial grass for multisport was supplied and installed across the 435m² area.
