Sprotbrough Cricket Club contacted Dura-Sport to discuss refurbishment options for their existing non-turf pitch on the edge of the first team square.
The existing surface and shock pad were lifted and removed and the aggregate base was completely reconstructed in order to bring the levels of the pitch back up to flush with the existing surrounding ground.The existing pad was then reinstalled under tension.
After consultation with the client, the pitch was re-surfaced using our traditional green coloured DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket carpet, confirmed as the strongest and most durable cricket carpet available in the industry.
The pitch was installed under tension and marked out as per rules of the game.
