Dura-Sport were employed by Soccer Sensations to resurface two of their courts at their football centre in Stockton-on-Tees.
Dura-Sport have enjoyed a long relationship with Soccer Sensations having first resurfaced ten of their courts back in 2005.
Each court measured 16.50m x 33.00m and the chosen surface was Domo Duraforce XSL 50 synthetic grass in single colour green.
Each carpet roll was positioned, trimmed in and seamed together using a two-part adhesive applied to a carrier tape.
Once the new synthetic grass was installed, line markings (5-A-Side 'D's and a centre spot) were cut in to each court.
The surface pile was then brushed up into a vertical position and in filled with kiln dried silica sand and black SBR rubber at the rates specified by the manufacturer using specialist spreading equipment. Final brushing was then carried out to ensure even infill distribution.
The project was completed on time and within budget and we are due to resurface a further three courts for Soccer Sensations in September 2019.
