Scholes & Harley Cricket Club

Rotherham

With the sun (on the whole) continuing to shine, we have been able to construct three more ECB Approved non-turf pitches this week. These clubs can now enjoy the benefit of their new facilities for the remainder of the season and will hit the ground running in 2025!.

Our featured installation is at Scholes & Harley Cricket Club in Rotherham, one of the pitches installed last week. 

Logistical issues coupled with a wet lying field meant that we not only had to wait for the perfect weather, we also had to call on the neighbours for some help!. 

Huge thanks go to Jean at The Bay Horse in Scholes, whose help and support allowed this project to happen for the local village cricket club and to Scholes & Harley Cricket Club for their patience while we waited for that break in the clouds. 

The result is a 30 x 2.74 metre ECB Approved DSi-pro non-turf cricket pitch, featuring the latest version of our DSi-weave superior Wilton woven cricket carpet. 

We hope that the village and club members enjoy the facility for many years to come and that they draw up a thirst whilst playing on it so the pub benefits too!
