Princes Risborough School contacted Dura-Sport to discuss refurbishment options for their existing non-turf cricket pitch, which was originally surfaced with a wilton woven cricket carpet in the 1990’s.
The existing surface and shock pad tiles were lifted and removed and the aggregate base was completely reconstructed in order to bring the levels of the pitch back up to flush with the existing surrounding ground.
After consultation with the School, they opted for the pitch to be resurfaced with our i-weave superior wilton woven playing surface which we installed under tension and marked out as per rules of the game.
This is Dura-Sport’s first non-turf cricket project undertaken in Buckinghamshire since our expansion to a UK wide company in 2013.
