Dura-Sport were delighted to be appointed by Outwood Cricket Club in Surrey to construct a bespoke practice facility for their cricketers.
The facility was designed in line with an Arboricultural Method Statement (ABS) provided due to the location of the club within National Trust land. Subsequently, the construction of the facility had to meet all requirements of The ABS whilst still meeting ECB and TS6 requirements.
Following consultation with the club, we designed a twin lane practice facility incorporating two 24 metre practice pitches incorporating The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, with an extended synthetic run up for the faster bowlers.
The facility was fully enclosed around the perimeter by a powder coated heavy duty cage and netting structure, complete with lockable gate.
