Dura-Sport were employed to construct a new twin bay cricket practice facility at Nawton Cricket Club in North East Yorkshire.
The club is located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the preparations required at their tree lined ground were extensive. The Club were able to carry out these large scale preparations themselves with the help of their members and associates. The site preparation was carried out to a high standard and, following our own site investigations, we were able to provide the club with recommendations, a specification and associated costs.
Once on site, a sub-base was prepared using specially selected materials and a site specific drainage system was built within the facility foundation.
With the facility footprint in place, Dura-Sport's ECB Approved DSi-pro Vision cricket pitches were installed with DS Grass alongside and in between each pitch to replicate the natural grass surrounds of well prepared pitches.
A cage and netting system with DDA compliant access gate was then installed to create a new, modern twin lane ECB Approved practice facility.
