Dura-Sport were employed by Leicester Tigers Rugby Club to surface and brand the player dugouts and steps at their Welford Road ground.

The project forms part of the Club’s rebranding of their Welford Road ground with long standing Club Partner Mattioli Woods.

The project involved the removal of the existing grass, followed by the excavation of the dugout area. Timber edgings and a geotextile membrane were then installed and a clean stone base created.  Hard wearing artificial grass was then supplied in red and installed across the area. A template with the Mattioli Woods logo was created and cut in to the surface in white for the home side and a template with 'Welford Road' was created and cut in for the away dugout.

The adjacent steps were sanded and red artificial grass was installed, along with new checker plate step nosing.

Once the resurfacing works were complete, the Club installed new branded seating to the dugout areas.
