Dura-Sport were employed by Kingsbury Academy in Coventry to carry out construction and resurfacing works to several of the school’s outdoor areas.

The first area contained old dilapidated artificial grass with a sand base. The grass and sand were lifted, stripped and removed and a new stone sub-base was installed. The area was then surfaced with Dura-Sport Luxury Real 34 synthetic grass. 

The second area, which contained worn natural turf, was excavated and backfilled with clean stone, then surfaced with Dura-Sport Luxury Real 34.

Six of the smaller areas, which were all tarmac, were surfaced with Dura-Sport Real 34 synthetic grass. The new surfacing was installed directly over the existing tarmac to create safer, more usable play spaces.

A total of 2000m² of Dura-Sport Luxury Real 34 synthetic grass was installed.
