The original wilton woven cricket surface at Kibworth Cricket Club was beginning to show signs of wear after 15 seasons of heavy use, both at the existing ground and the Club's old ground from which it was moved.
Dura-Sport were appointed to lift and remove the surface and system, extend the pitch to 30.00m, excavate out the existing aggregate and completely rebuild the pitch with The ECB Approved DSi-pro cricket system, incorporating a deeper more stable base and a new full length and full width performance underlay.
The pitch was surfaced with i-weave superior wilton woven cricket surface, marking the pitch out as per rules of the game.
