Following an extensive vetting process, Dura-Sport were appointed as the Main Contractor to install new surfacing to the full sized synthetic grass pitch at Dearne Valley College in Rotherham.
The project included the extraction and removal of the existing synthetic grass surface, followed by the installation of new hi-tech synthetic grass surfacing.
Desso's top level surfacing product, iDNA-X has been developed with increased 3 dimensional resilience in order to achieve the highest level of football performance.
The surface has been installed at the training grounds of Manchester City and Bolton Wanderers and Manchester City have been so pleased with its performance, it has been specified for 3 full-sized fields at their new state-of-the-art Etihad Training Academy.
