Dura-Sport were appointed by Coventry City Council to install 7no. non-turf cricket pitches within parks in the City as part of an ECB initiative.
A recommendation for each pitch was provided to The Council following a site visit, survey, topography study and discussions regarding location and use within each park.
Each pitch was constructed to incorporate one of our ECB Approved cricket systems, surfaced with DSi-weave superior wilton woven cricket carpet. It’s strength and durability being ideal for a park where use and footwear cannot always be monitored.
In addition to the pitches, a second project saw an existing unused tennis and netball court area reconstructed into a 5 lane fully synthetic cricket practice facility.
All projects were completed on time and within budget.
