Following vandalism through fire at their Jubilee Park ground, Dura-Sport were appointed by Chesterfield Cricket Club to refurbish the existing single lane facility.
Work included lifting the existing surfaces, shock pads and surround materials and re-grading and re-screeding the performance aggregate. The existing shock pads were then cleaned and re-installed.
New synthetic materials were installed as part of the scheme including the i-weave wilton woven cricket surfacing in the batting and bowling ends, which were both marked out as per rules of the game. New synthetic surround material was also installed.
The project was completed on time and on schedule ready for the forthcoming cricket season.
