Dura-Sport Leisure Care were appointed by Bishop Lonsdale School in Stafford to carry out an extended maintenance visit in order to restore their synthetic grass pitch.
The pitch, which was installed by Dura-Sport in 2012, was suffering from the development of grass and vegetation to the perimeter of the facility, growing within the surface itself. The rubber infill distribution was also a little patchy and the carpet pile was laying flat.
Leisure Care carried out an extended maintenance visit, providing a greater amount of time on site to remove the grass and vegetation that had been killed off initially and to clean, decompact and redistribute the rubber infill, restoring the pitch to a good condition.
The school have now entered in to a regular maintenance contract with Leisure Care.
